*GIVEAWAY* Summer Nail Polish Set!

Sooo, it took me a hot minute to come up with a giveaway. I purchased multiple brush sets, necklaces, earrings and more to use as giveaway prizes, but they are all in the mail. I wish they were already here. I couldn't help myself guys--I went out and bought a few nail polishes to use as a prize! I bought another set to use as a prize for another giveaway, either on facebook or my instagram. I have no idea how to host contests on those platforms, so I have some researching to do! But until then, here's a little to tide all of us over for a bit! So what's the prizes? Well, I'm excited to say that it's a few fun-colored polishes for Summer!

Left to right: L.A. Colors Flashpop! in Bam!, Broadway Nails in Aquarius #7, Broadway Nails in Mystery Pumpkin #21

These colors are all about Summer! This picture just isn't doing the shades justice--and I already wish I could pick a winner! Since the the prizes are technically liquids and a hazard to ship, this contest will be open ONLY to US residents. (Sorry international friends) Now you know the rules--you must be at least 16 to enter without parental permission. You must be okay with sharing your address with me, or else I'll have no way to ship your prizes. I do hope that whoever wins will share a picture of a mani using these! I'd love to see it, and I'd also love to share it too! This contest ends on the 30th of June, so there's plenty of time to enter at least a couple of times!

I want to take a second to personally thank every single one of you for stopping by my blog, and especially those of you who comment, email, and follow me on other social media websites. I now have almost 400 subbers on Youtube, and honestly I remembered being so tickled when I had 3 subscribers! That's pretty neat! You guys are truly amazing.  So thank you, from the bottom of my heart!

*REVIEW* Sleek Makeup's Pomegranate Blush!

I'd been REALLY wanting to review this for what feels like months, but I just didn't really have any extra time to do much of anything really. Well thankfully I was able to get all of the moving, unpacking, laundry, setting up the house stuff finished so expect quite a few tutes and reviews!

I'm going to start with one of Sleek MakeUp's Blushes. I use these far more than I use my Nars, MAC and Elf ones. I have a ton of these and guys they are amazing! No shit, they stay on all day AND they are FAR MORE pigmented than some of my Higher End blushes!!?? I'm cool with that.

Each single blush is 8g-0.27 oz. It may look kind of small but this stuff is VERY pigmented, trust me guys I LIGHTLY dip my blush brush into them and I ALWAYS have to tap off any excess. The packaging had been tarnished a bit due to a product exploding in my bag...which is no fun.

The packaging is nice and sleek. Slim and boxy gets the job done! I love the mirrors in these little blushes! The mirrors are as tall and wide as the entire top cap--so VERY handy! The powder formula is virtually weightless and this particular shade had a red sheen. It's unique...it's almost a matte shade that has a slight "shift" of a crimson red in the light. If you are wanting to try this brand, your best bet would be through Amazon if you live in the US. Sleek does in fact ship overseas, but it would be cheaper and faster to just order from Amazon's website.

In all seriousness though, if I had to rate their blushes, they would get an A+. The product is pigmented enough to only have to use a very little amount. I had actually used this blush maybe 12 or more times, but you can STILL see the hatch marks...I would literally tap my blush brush onto the top layer of the blush and even then that was too much product to apply to my face!!! These blushes retail for $6.99  which is a phenomenal price for this much product. As you can see below, they have quite a few shades to try:

I own Pixie Pink, Coral, Life's a Peach, Flamingo, Rose Gold, Suede, Pomegranate and Sunrise. I REALLY want to try Flushed and Antique so bad!  They also have blush palettes which I will be reviewing soon. It;s the exact same formula, but you get more shades to try!

So let's get to the swatches, shall we?

The finger swipe is just one layer with no primer whatsoever. Underneath, I had blended out what was left on the pad of my finger. This picture isn't doing this product justice at all! It's a beautiful burgundy red with a neat brighter color of reddish shift. Deep skinned gals, this would look FABULOUS on you! Pale gals, you'd be better off using this VERY lightly...lol.

it's safe to say that I've fallen head over heels for these blushes. Have you tried these yet? If so, which one is your favorite?

My May Julep Box Arrived!

I have to say that I was particularly excited about this box. As some fo you may know, my favorite color just happens to be green, and I was super stoked to see that the Birthstone Collection shade was a super sparkly green emerald shade! I think I was also excited about the liner as well, but first and foremost--I needed to have that sparkly green goodness in my life, ha ha ha!

So of course I was super delighted when the Postal Worker brought me the box! I brought it inside, opened it, squealed a bit and rushed into my beauty room to take some pics. Here are the contents:

* Julep Gel Eye Glider in Smoky Taupe Shimmer (VERY pretty)
* Jahnavi Nail Polish-Classic with a Twist (A metallic silvery shade)
* Shelly-It Girl (VERY Pale blue---I cannot wait to pair it with an orange or a yellow this Summer!)
* Cher-Emerald for May (a beautiful grass green with green glitter. This shade also has slight amount of duochrome chrome glitter that has an orange/purple shift which is pretty unique)

So let's get to the pictures!

HNNNG. Look at that green! (And the other products as well...)

OMG DAT GREEN...LOOK AT IT! (The others are pretty too...)

I seriously need to find a green lipstick in this color! Which nail polish do YOU like the most?

Let's take a closer look at these products:

CHER-
If you look at the bottom of the nail polish, you can see that subtle duochrome glitter that I'd mentioned before.

SHELLY-
A matte very pale blue. Almost as blue as like, I dunno...the eyes of a zombie? Mmmm...brains.

Jahnavi-
This is a really neat metallic shade. I want to say that it's a silver, but it's like a mix of silver and taupe....but more on the silvery side.

Gel Eye Glider in Smoky Taupe Shimmer-
This is such a pretty color! I had been wanting to pick a taupe eye liner for a while, so this came just in time for Summer!

Anyone else a Maven? If so, what items did you get in your box this month? Since this green is super pretty--how would you guys wear it? Would you wear it by itself, or pair it with another shade? It's the PERFECT Holiday green, lol. And if any of you know of a lipstick in that same shade of green, please tell me who/where I can purchase one!

As always, thank you lovelies for reading my blog post. I can't wait to swatch/show you all what I do with these products!

*SALE* HUGE Sale (retail=$300-$500 but are on sale for ONLY $35-$69?) Brilliance New York Curling Wands, Straighteners, and MORE!

Well I'll be darned. Hautelook has done it again! I just chatted with a friend the other day about how I need a new high end straightener and how I'd been really wanting to try a curling wand. Lo and Behold, this sale is not only answering my hair-prayers, but my budget-prayers as well, ha ha ha! I looked at a few products at Walmart and Target...well these straighteners and wands are BETTER quality for the same price and possibly less than the ones I was checking out at the store a few days back! They normally retail for $300, but most of these are ONLY $35!? I'm sold!

For those of you in need of you who are in the market for a curling wand, straightener or just wanting to try a new brand, you've gotta check these out because this will not last long at all--and the price is very fair for the quality!

This isn't going to last long. I used to own a mini straightener by this company and I really loved it! It was stolen a few years back so i'm going to get a full sized one. I've been using a cheap Conair one, and it works but it's starting to short out on me, which isn't very fun and is honestly more hassle than it's worth to actually use it.

Obviously the best bet would be to get the multi-barrel set. I'm planning on getting the black set, but I may opt with a fun and bright color...the barrels of the pink one do differ from the black one though, so I may do a bit of research to find out which one I'd enjoy more.

They also have some bright and colorful straighteners. (That peacock one is super friggin' cute!)

What's the best straightener/curling wand you've ever tried? Have any of you tried Brilliance New York as well? What product did you own/try? Let me know!
