Fave Winter Products Part 1: Sweet and Feminine and Light-Catching!

These products are perfect for the transition of Fall to Winter. Soft and Girly, a bit of Glitz and Glam to make any outfit shine this Holiday Season! So let's get into what they are:

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette:

Why it Rocks:
This palette of amazingness brings such a nice innocent and youthful glow the skin. It's perfect for highlighting, sweeping all over the face, light contouring, and so much more. The light reflecting particles just illuminates one's skin perfectly! You can be confident that you are going to get a nice subtle glow every time you use it, and there's really no way to over-do it. The palette has a shade for everyone!

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Singles in Snatch and Midnight Cowboy:

(Right: Snatch. Left: Midnight Cowboy)

Why Snatch Rocks:
This color is the perfect flirty peach with gold glitter. It has a pearl-like shine that's light attracting and the gold glitter keeps this shade interesting. It's soft yet very pigmented and the glitter is sparse enough that you could wear this to an evening party, or even work without looking like a glitter-bomb went off in your face.

Why Midnight Cowboy Rocks:
This shade is a bit more pale in comparison to Snatch, and has silver glitter instead of gold. This is more of a nude peach that is universal enough to work with any skin tone and shade. If you have a deep shade of skin, apply this shade on the lid as well in the inner conrer of your eye to catch a bit of soft light. The glitter is sparse, so yet again, no need to feel like a glitter-bomb went off in your face. It's just that classy.

Sephora X Nail Polish in Ice Princess:
 Why Ice Princess Rocks:
The shade is flirty and fem, with a tiny gold shimmer mixed with a surprise of 2 different sized Rose Gold glitters. It catches light, and prevents ,your nails from being boring. It's soft color compliments any skin tone, and in my opinion would be the PERFECT main mani color for New Year's and Thanksgiving. It's soft, it sparkles, it's awesome.

What will you guys be wearing this Holiday Season?

Pink Sugar Fragrances, Rouge Bunny Cosmetics on Sale!

Hey everyone! The Holidays are just around the corner, and so I've been keeping my eyes open for some some beauty products to fill some stockings with! First of all, these events will be ending tomorrow morning. With that being said, here's what I noticed online:

Hautelook.com is having Pink Sugar and Rouge Bunny on sale. I have a few samples of the perfume and LOVE it so much that I'm picking up 2 for myself at this price! I've never tried Rouge Bunny, but it's a brand that so many gals in the online makeup communities that I hang out in are crazy about the stuff!

Now as for Rouge Bunny, here's what other's have suggested for me to try:

Have you tried Rouge Bunny before? If so, what are your fave products? I'm eyeballing the eyeshadow duos...

Review: OCC's RX Lip Tar

I've hopped on the blue train, and this shade is so pretty and daring! As much as I love this color, it feathers terribly. I have been using the Elf Lip Lock Pencil to help keep this bad boy from wandering all over my face, and it works wonders! This product is opaque and bright--just what is needed when wearing a bright hued lippie! On to the swatches!

This brightly hued Lip Tar REALLY packs a punch to the eyeballs. It's sooooo bright! It has an amazing consistency--non sticky, lightweight and comfortable.

As you can see, the feathering can be super redonkulous without a clear lip liner or an adhesive medium. I absolutely LOVE this color and will be wearing it to work very soon. I purchased it from Glambot.com to use with my other blue Lip Tar, Technopagan. I do have to reapply this color every few hours, but honestly I don't mind doing so for the opaqueness and vibrancy of the product! I have been extremely impressed with OCC's Lip Tars so far! The feathering was a huge turn off, but honestly it's completely fine if you can get your hands on a clear lip liner. :)

How do you guys feel about crazy colored lipsticks? Have you tried any? Any recommendations?

Review: Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Peaceful

Like most of you guys, I've been going through my collection and rearranging products to use for this Winter/Holiday Season. I'm hoping to have a HUGE post of all of my fave blushes for this time of year up in the next week or so, but I felt this blush needed a pretty good review and I just couldn't wait to post about it!

If you have tried Tarte's blushes, you already know what I'm about to say--they are freaking AMAZING, and I'm super in love with them!

Here it is in all it's GLORY. Beautiful, shimmery, and the color itself is natural and universal meaning that it will be so gorgeous on any skin tone and shade! The packaging is sturdy and has a tiny hole on the back for those of us who enjoy depotting our stuff.

The swatch on the left has been lightly blended in. The swatch on the right is a straight swatch to show the true color of the product before being blended.

I have olive skin, and this blush just has such a nice nude flush! It lasts for more than 12 hours, and the ingredients are phenomenal for your skin. The price point is pretty steep, but I feel it's worth every single cent. you only need a little bit at a time because this blush is awesomely full of super pigment that is easy to blend and it stays put!

Ignore my nails and my blemishes, lol. For those of you who are interested:

Products Used:
Lancome Eyeliner in Black Coffee, Urban Decay Eyeshadows in Snatch, Busted, Cherry, Walk of Shame, Elf Mineral Infused Mascara, Tarte Lipsurgence in Wonder, Benefit Gimme Brow in Light/Medium, MAC Brow Duo in Brunette, Elf Smudge Pot in Pearls of Wisdom and Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Luminous Light. The review will be up on Youtube in the next few days, so check my channel out soon!

This blush has won a permanent spot on my vanity top and I'm going to use it pretty often this Season!

Have any of you tried Tarte's Blushes? If so, what's your fave shade? What do you like the most/Least about this product?

Hautelook.com is hosting NYX again! There's not a huge variety of products this time around, but with Christmas coming up, it's def worth a look! Here's a few items that I'm personally excited for:

What's your fave NYX product? I've only tried a few things, but their eyeshadow formula is WONDERFUL for the price!

Julep It Girl Maven November Box

It arrived!

My Julep Maven November Box arrived the other day, and I am so excited to show you guys what was included! My box came with the Freedom Polymer Top Coat (Which is the BEST top coat I've ever tried in my entire life!) Llsa Polish (an opaque deep matte blue) and Roc Solid Polish (A dark grey-ish green shade) I can't wait to review each of these! The very second I opened it, I knew exactly what mani I'd do next...I painted my nails that very night. (Click here to see more colors in their store!)

From left to right: Roc Solid, Llsa, Freedom Polymer Top Coat.

Here's the mani I ended up doing that night using the Llsa as the main color, Polymer Top Coat and Jordan layered on my tips. (Jordan I had purchased previously)

Llsa + Jordan + Freedom Polymer Top Coat = Motha Flippin FABULOUSNESS.

I am so thrilled to do an in-depth review on each one of these shades. I didn't realize how much I needed to have a dark matte blue in my collection, but now that I have one, it's going to be a regular in my my manis!

What's your fave Julep nail polish? Have you tried their subscription service? Want to get a free Julep box?
This blue is going to be so much fun this Winter!
Let me know what you guys think!

ILNP New Holo Flakies Nail Polish Collection! Available for Pre-order Nov. 14th!!!

They day has finally arrived...I'd been checking my inbox twice a day in hopes to catch a glimpse of the new flakie collection from ILNP. If you've seen my reddit posts, you know that I'm a HUGE fan of holographic and duo-chrome nail polishes. I've searched high and low for amazing holos, and had been TERRIBLY disappointed (the ONLY holo polish I even own now is one by Kleancolor in Chunky Holo Black which my favorite nail polish EVER even though it's super freaking cheap...I threw out all of my other "holos" because they were a huge sad bottle of disappointment) they were hardly "holo" and to be honest, the formulas were just awful in general and they were chunky, and yeah it hurt my feels pretty damn bad.

On my "Fuck this I'm searching for pretty holos that are ACTUALLY holo" quest a while back, I stumbled upon a site, ILNP.com which just happened to have HUGE assortment of holos and duo-chromes! I screamed out loud, startled my boyfriend whom was minding his own business, and I probably cackled like a witch who's paid vacation for Halloween was accepted at work. I take glitter and polish pretty damn seriously, if you couldn't already tell. Well after investigating the site, I contacted the company asking if I could review some of their products. I never heard back from anyone, so I waited a while and then decided to buy just ONE polish. I purchased a polish called Cygnus Loop, and it wasn't as multi-chromed on my nails as I thought it would be. After the waiting and anticipation, it turned out to be just a deep blue shade on my nails. No rainbow of awesome as I'd hoped, but I'm willing to try the brand again and I'm still wanting to try more of the multi/duo-chromed shades because I'm not sure if maybe I just got one that wasn't mixed well or something like that.

Anywhooo, enough of my story--they released swatches and pictures of their upcoming HOLO FLAKIES!!! Yeah, I'm as giddy as a kid in a candy store and I feel like my head just exploded because of the unicorn/rainbow/goodness that I just witnessed in my email.

This is just one coat of Supernova.

Electric Carnival over Relvon's Urban

I'd been waiting my whole life for nail polish like this. This would be the coolest and most awesome Christmas present to myself EVER. This collection (along with a few of the other holo's and multichromes) are the highest on my wishlist. Are you guys as excited as I am? Have any of you tried this brand before?

Tarte on Sale!

I just wanted to let you guys know that hautelook.com is having Tarte on sale right now, and you can pick up a set of 12 Tarte Amazonian Clay Eyeliners for $25.00! They have quite a few items at a deep discount, and this brand is just amazing...it's one of my favorites! If any of you have been meaning to try any of their products, (I'm in love with their liners, shadows, blush, lipsurgences and mascara) this would be a great way to do so, or stock up on a few Christmas gifts, as Christmas is only 6 weeks away! Check out what kind of bargains they have right now:

There's so much more as well, but it would have taken me forever to post all of it for you guys. As usual, deals like these do NOT last long of course! Let me know what you are interested in checking out, and if you have any recommendations for anyone else, please share what products you like the most!

MAC Lovelorn Lipstick Review and Swatch!

I had to share one of my favorite Pink shades for this Fall and Winter with you guys! This is MAC's Lovelorn, and it's a soft medium pink that's somewhat sheer. This color is perfect for all skin tones, and is very moisturizing. Check out how gorgeous the swatches are:

Sheer and glossy, this color is creamy, has a medium gloss finish and the shade itself gives a youthful hint of color to your lips.

Isn't it gorgeous!? This color lasts around 3 hours, so reapplication is necessary. I wear this shade alone, but I it can be layered on a darker pink of course, and with no gloss because of it's glossy finish. This shade is going to look amazing with the natural flush of one's cheeks this cold season, and when I think of Winter, I think of soft and supple pink shades for cheeks, lips and nails. This color will be a worthy investment as it can be rolled right over into Spring as well!

What's your favorite MAC lipstick?

Glambot Order: OCC Lip Tars in Black Dahlia and RX!

Glambot had an amazing deal a few weeks back, so I used a coupon code to snag 2 OCC liptars, Black Dahlia and RX for less than $20.00 shipped! (How cool is that!?)

I love the custom tape they use!

They gave me a free sample: a Korean Collagen Mask! I LOVE these things!

Black Dahlia and RX!

I was so excited to rip open that bag and check out my goodies! I'm a HUGE fan of OCC's Technopagan, and I'd been looking for a matte blue to use alongside it for an ombre lip. RX is just PERFECT for that! Yet again, Glambot.com has wowed me and I can't wait for another sale! I've ordered so many times and I love everything about the company thus far! Check back soon for reviews and swatches guys! Hurray for glambot!

Do any of you wear blue lipsticks? If so, do you have any advice or tips on how to wear them, such as what kind of eye look and stuff that you personally do on yourselves? I need a little push to wear these out!

Also, what do you love most about glambot? Have any of you placed an order? If so, what did you get?
