Elf's New Skincare Line! Review of Ingredients!

First off--I searched high and low for a GOOD review on these products before I purchased them. All I found were girls talking a bit about the product...never did I find a video/blog on WHY these items would work for anyone. I'm here to blow your minds with research! I'm not as educated on skincare as I'd like to be, but I have been doing quite a bit of research the past 2 years on what ingredients do what, how much percentage of an ingredient will be enough to show results, where ingredients come from etc. I want to know exactly what I'm putting onto my face and I want to know if a product is worth the hype/price. I'm not fond of just throwing money away to a high end/luxury company if the product isn't going to do a damn thing for me. I'd much rather spend that money on things like: Shoes, Purses, Jewelry, Clothes, More Makeup, Books, Electronic Devices and the like.  Don't get me wrong--I don't mind spending a small chunk of cash on something if it's tried and true for me! I have a deep and fond love for Elf Cosmetics and I'd rather NOT waste money playing a guessing game and having to watch videos of girls twisting their hair around their fingers while saying, "I like this product because...I didn't like this product because..." I don't care whether or not THEY like it. I just want to know the BENEFITS. PERIOD. That way I can discern if the product is right for ME. Sorry for the rant, but DAMN! I feel like some reviews aren't even really REVIEWS anymore...I try my best to be thorough when it comes to skincare because what may work for me may not work for someone else, and I'd hate to be the reason someone ended up with a product that they do not like.

**Disclaimer** I have not yet used these products. I will in about a half an hour, and while others will blog/review a product within the first week of it's use, it's NOT thorough. It takes a while to see results and even if a product works great within a week--it may take a turn for the worse by the end of a 4 week period.

So let's get down to business!

Citrus Sinensis (Orange) Fruit Extract: Supplements Collagen, anti-bacterial, prevents fungus formation on the skin.

Saccharum Oficcinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract: Main source of Glycolic Acid which is Huuuuge in the world of anti-aging ingredients. It's an AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) which are formerly known as main ingredients in skin resurfacing/light facial peels. (this means that it's a light exfoliant that will help clear the skin of dull and dead skin cells!)

Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract: Another AHA or Alpha Hydroxy Acid. Gently removes dead skin cells to show radiant fresh ones, causing a "glow" on the skin.  Minimizes and repairs damage of the skin.

Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract: Anti-inflammatory that's a natural source of Vitamin C. Vitamin C has anti-aging properties, helps collagen production, brightens the skin, fades skin discoloration.

To Sum It Up: I am absolutely THRILLED that this has AHA's for an amazing price! I just purchased a few products from Paula's Choice, because of the AHA's in them. Elf did not really say much about the fact that it has these in the product and they totally SHOULD! It's not only very popular right now, but it's an amazing selling point! This product will tighten and brighten my skin while protecting it from pollution and it even fights existing wrinkles as well as prevents them! How awesome is that!? Yeah, I can't wait to see how this stuff does! You get a great amount of product for the price too--I'm so stoked about this bottle!
