Spring 2015 Look Using Sleek's Oh So Special Palette!

As many of you know--I'm a sucker for the whole "Cat-eye" look. 95% of the time I wear eyeliner or cream eyeshadow, it's in a cat-eye shape. I really think this look would be perfect for this Spring. It's light with a hint of depth, soft and shimmery, and it's so easy to put together!

Here's the products I used to achieve this simple edgy, yet romantic look!

Elf Studio Eye Primer & Liner Sealer (Just for the primer)
Elf Studio Matte Lip Color in Natural (This color is SO beautiful!)
Sleek Make Up I-Divine Palette in Oh So Special ( I used the eyeshadow that is close in color to Stila's Kitten from my inner corner to the outer edge of the cat-eye and the Burgundy shade on the outer part of my bold cat-eye, with the cream matte as a highlight)
Elf Studio Mascara Primer (Another must-have item!)
Elf Studio Khol Eyeliner (the chubby black one)
Elf Studio Mineral Infused Mascara (My Holy Grail Mascara)
Elf Studio Baked Highlighter in Blush Gems
Benefit Thrrrob Blush

I REALLY wish that I had this palette for Valentine's Day! I would have loved to wear this out with my hair in ringlet curls! I just cannot say enough about Sleek Make Up's cosmetic line. The pigmentation is dead on, the price point is amazing, and the color selection and variety make this brand one of my top 3 affordable/budget beauty brands of ALL TIME. Sleek Make Up is sold overseas, however you can find the brand on Amazon (and beauty blog sales etc.) for a reasonable price. Have any of you tried their cosmetic line? If so, what did you think? Any suggestions on what product/palette to try next?

Hint of Blue with Gold-- Spring 2015 Eyeshadow Look Using Urban Decay and Elf Cosmetics!

Products Used:

Urban Decay's Half Baked, (Lid) Twice baked, (Outer Edge of Lid) Heist, (Crease) Midnight Cowboy, (Highlight) Deep End (Inner rim/Tear duct area) Eyeshadows
Wet N Wild Fergie Cream Liner in Little Black Dress (Liner along lash line and waterline)
Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in Electric (Blue Liner on eyelid)
Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in Midnight Cowboy (Under Lower Lash line)

This look was very simple and fun to wear out! I wanted to make a video tutorial for this, but I'm getting ready to move, hence why I'm blogging using my mobile device right now. I don't think my plan could handle all of the data for uploading a ton of pics and/or videos! (After I move, I'll actually make a video of my studio to show you guys my makeup collection and my setup for those of you who are new to beauty blogging!)

Would you wear this out of the house? I totally did!

Sometimes When You Haul, You Gotta Haul HARD. (PIC HEAVY)

First off, I have been so busy that I've neglected my blog as of late. I'm getting ready to relocate and I really needed some time to collect my thoughts. So I hauled. I mean, I REALLY HAULED. Like a BEAST in fact, and I can't wait to share all of my new loot with you guys!

So, this will be a bit picture heavy. BRACE YOURSELVES.

From Left to Right: Kat Von D's Painted Love Lipstick in Lovecraft, Backstage Bambi, Hellbent, Foiled Love Lipstick in Beranice, Laura Geller's Dolce.

I love my Clarisonic, but it's just super abrasive on my sensitive skin. I purchased myself a Foreo Luna, and I LOVE THIS THING SO MUCH. I will still use my Clarisonic once every few weeks, but this little bad boy has trumped all of the cleansing devices I've tried so far. Hand's down, it's the BEST!

LE MAC Archie's Girls Blush in Veronica's Blush, Chromaline in Pure White, Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Stormy Pink, Fluidline in Dipdown and Mineralize Eyeshadow in Fresh & Easy.

Nars All About Eve, Tzarine, Deep Throat, Edie, Namibia, Habanera, Fathom, And God Created The Woman, Arabian Nights, Bysance, Bellissima, Charade.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Medium Brown, Dark Brown and Blonde.

Smashbox On The Rocks LE Palette.

Kat Von D's Innerstellar Palette.

Kat Von D's Chrysallis Palette.

Kat Von D's The Monarch Palette.

Kat Von D's Star Studded Palette.

There's quite a bit more to post, and I plan on posting the rest of the Haul next week! (It's in the mail, but expect Sleek palettes, MAC lipsticks and much more!)

Have you tried any of the items in this post? If so, what did you like and/or dislike about them?

My Spring 2015 Picks Part 1: Neutral Yet Gorgeous!

Ahhh Spring is coming up, and I'm so freaking excited! It's been sooo cold in Missouri that they might as well call it "Misery" instead, ha ha ha. Bad joke, I know. Anywhooo, I'm pretty stoked for the weather to get better! Along with being stoked for the beautiful weather--I'm excited for the beautiful colors and new styles to be available beauty and fashion-wise. I will be doing a series of posts for Spring 2015...this one is more about low-key nude colors for a more work-friendly natural look this Spring! So here's some of my fave picks for this Spring 2015!

(I apologize for the quality of these pics, I'm getting ready to move in the next month so there's no internett at my place right now. I'm using my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Phablet to blog, etc. and this pic was a bit shaky I guess!)

What I'm LOVING for Spring 2015:

EYES:

Nars Eyeshadow Duo in Charade (retails for $35.00 on their website) Elf's Prism Palette in Naked (retails for $10.00 on their website) Elf's Smudge Pots in Cruisin' Chic and Ain't That Sweet (retails for $3.00 each on their website)

FACE:

Elf Body Shimmer in Cosmic Coral (Retails for $3.00 but is discontinued. I've found it several times on eBay and Amazon, you might be able to find it on other sites as well) Tarte Cheek Stain in Tipsy (retails for $30.00 on their website) MAC Sheertone Blush in Tenderling (retails for $22.00 on their website) Elf Studio Pressed Mineral Blush in Sweet Retreat (Retails for $5.00 on their website)

LIPS:
Elf Studio Matte Lip Color in Natural (Retails for $3.00 on their website) Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetic's Lip Tar in Zhora (Retails for $18.00 on their website) Tarte Lipsurgence Natural Lip Tint in Perky (retails $24.00 but is discontinued. A very close shade would be Charmed on their website)

What will be some of your fave products for Spring 2015? Are there any styles or looks that you are excited for?

REVIEW: Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in LSD

And now to RAVE about another one of my fave Urban Decay Liners...LSD. This is a dark glittery mix of awesomness. Most glittery liners when smudged out lose their magical shimmery effect, but not this one. The glitter is fine, and there's quite a bit of it. It's a perfect blend of color and shine!

This color is a dark navy blue with a lighter blue glitter. When smudged out, it has a nice color to glitter ratio. (Unlike some of my MAC Liners Peacocked in particular) It's a smooth formula even though it's jam packed with micro-fine glitter. The color lasts all day, I never have to reapply their eyeliners, which is a huge plus! Urban Decay can be a bit expensive, so I suggest signing up on their website for emails. They send out promotion codes and coupons for around 20% off a few times a year, and I've seen sales on their page for eyeshadows (normally around $19 each) for $6.00 and their liners (normally around $20 each) for $7.00. It's worth checking out their sales page--in fact they do still have some items on their sale page right now, so be sure to check it out before it's all sold out!
Also be sure to checkout Hautelook.com (This is my referral link. I believe that you get a free $10.00 credit added to your account for signing up using my link, but I forget) Urban Decay has sales there at least 3 times a year and If you sign up, I will alert you guys via my social media when they have their next one so you guys can get in on the good stuff for an AMAZING price!

It's a nice tinted navy. The glitter REALLY catches the light and gives it an edge as well as dimension.

The bottom line is this: This is an amazingly fun color to have in your collection! It is shimmery and eye-catching. The formula is hands-down one of the best I've tried, and it's long lasting. I use this color with a nude eye as well as with a black/navy smoky eye. I pair this with the Elf Mineral Eyeliner in Midnight as well since this liner is a tad bit translucent. I liked this one so much that I purchased 2 extras as backups with a 20% off coupon that they had sent me a bit back. What's your fave Urban Decay liner? Any suggestions on other brands that have glitter liners?

Kat Von D's Star Studded Palette

This thing is SO amazing! Here's a preview--you guys should expect quite a few tutorials featuring this palette! In all seriousness...WOW.
